Practice room excuses ! ( Mainly Bass Section )

1. - I ran out of breath !

2.-  I Thought it went quicker than that !

3.-  I Cant do it !

4.-  We were wrong from the beginning !

5. -  Im used to playing it the other way !

6. -  Was i meant to look at you ? ?

7. -  I had a page turn !

8. -  I read the wrong line !

9. -  It went too high !

10.- I forgot how to play it !

11.- My valve stuck. ( Russ ) !

12.-Oh S#*t ( Russ) !

13. -I picked up an E Flat !

14.- I started in the wrong place ( Adam) !

15.-SPANISH LESSONS ( Nick ) !

16.-To much lip from Flugel players !

17.- I wanted to play but my lips wouldn,t let me ( Sally) !

18.- It Went too low ( Hannah) !

19.- I did the repeat but i didn.t know where i was ( Sarah) !

20.-I didnt know what i was doing ( Sarah) !

21.- My Slide is giving me blisters ( Brian) !

22. - Me stick got stuck ( Sam) !

23.- The light was shining on it !

23.- We were getting ready for the next bit !

24.- You gave me the look ( Hannah) !

25.- I ran out of fingers 

26. - I saw a Spider !

27. - Oh Dear, Thought it sounded funny,Im playing Solo Horn copy ! ( Yvonne Flugel )

28. - We were still counting in six !  (Steve, can,t be perfect all the time! )
29. -  We were lost from the start !  ( Hannah )

John Newberry Bowls Champion 2007.
This is Dead eye ( or very jammy)  Newberry as he is now known! who battled his way to the top,fighting off the rest of the band ,to take home the wonderful Trophy.Which im sure he wont be keeping next year.Smile while you can John Lad !!

This is the trophy before smiling John Newberry got his hands on it.This was a very good social evening bowling at Ilkeston bowling centre.The evening was very enjoyable,and we hope to be having similar social events in the near future.
